Brandonwounds in the cart, are they specifically bridge or Neck ?
If they are a T top, they shouldn't be.
That part (same output for both pickups) is challenging, depending on which guitar I have them in. Sometimes you really have to wind the neck way down, or the bridge way up, and/or make some "weird" adjustments to either side or pole pieces. That's why you see so many goofy pics of people playing PAF and T To equipped guitars with the pickups and/or polepieces way up or down, and weird angles. There were no "neck" and "bridge" pickups. Just a pickup with similar outputs, and sometimes the slightly hotter one ended up in the neck.
My Rewind set is easy because I have James' post 72 JP pickup in the bridge. It's James' belief this is what kind of T top pickup ended up in Page's #1 when the PAF died. Based on a more rare T top from the late 60s James used to see come in for repairs/rewinds. It's a little hotter and has a different wind pattern- theory is they were wound on a different machine..maybe because the usual machine was down for maintenance, or whatever (unsure if the Ts were wound on the Leesona, or the Meteor, or they had moved on to something different by then). the JP Post 72 still sounds like a T Top, but it's got a bit more midrange and bit less of that round low end. He wound me a typical output normal wind pattern T top for the neck, so I have a "modern balanced" set. The post 72 bridge got so popular, he started offering them as normal production (his Hot '68 T top, IIRC is what he named it). Not that I could afford his massive price hike in recent years, but his pickups are so good, I hate that things ended up the way they did. Of course I feel worse for the people who spent thousands with him, and have nothing to show for it. Sucks.
I also have Marshallheads from Wolfe. They are VERY different from T tops. They are fantastic, but they are overwound A5 PAF types. LOTS of high mids, a really nice clear top end presence, and beefy. Still dynamic and clean up well, but apples and oranges. IT's got more "personality" than a T top and reacts better to 50s wiring in a 2V/2T setup. The A2 mod in the bridge is really nice too, but the neck model loses it's mojo with the A2 magnet, IMO. As mentioned on the Wolfetone site, the Dr. Vintage neck works much better with the MH Bridge if you want something a bit more "classic" for the neck. It's Wolfe's best selling set (MHb/Dr.Vn) I believe. That set has been in and out of all my guitars over the past few years, but does sit in my les Paul Traditional right now. I probably have some clips of those too. I'd have to do some digging.
