I might also sell my #1 for so many many years, the goth Explorer. I've worn the paint off the thing, it's always been a perfect workhorse. Dozens of guitars have come and gone and this one has always been my staple player. But now that I have both of the new Explorers... truth is I just like the 76 shape a whole lot more than the 58....

Please explain the difference on 1976 and 1958 I know the wood is different white limba 1958 mahogany 1976
Gibson Custom Shop did make a 1958 correct wood at $40,000.00 each they sold out over night
I was going to build a 1958 copy SG John was a huge help I needed a thousand more in tools to do the job I have the wood and template's
but got a Gibson LE Explorer year 2000 mint never played from Japan only made two years chunky neck like a 1958 so they say
the neck joint is like a 1976 not 1958

That black one looks wrong. Not a 58 or regular Gibby Explorer. Also the Explorer came out in 58, there were none in 56.2 on left are 76s , the black one is a 56.
