Awesome machines guys.
Always had the interest in the muscle cars but too expensive a hobby.

I just keep wrenching at home to keep my daily drivers on the road.
Wife reports a new CEL on.
Guess what I will be doing after work today instead of guitar playing?
FML.

So, any progress on the strat builds?

BFT is a wannabe..he is a hack lol, Just wish i could see better, soldering, i suck, like is the solder on the wire or why does my brain think things are touching but they are not !!

I also have that problem, and when I move my hand what you thought was a good connection, comes apart.

For Soldering, working on small engine carbs, or pretty much most everything I need to see small stuff on now, I use something like this with interchangeable magnification strengths.

Swampboy is not a huge GM fan

GM is OK...but this seems to happen a lot. GM is still blaming the oil, like BMW....



But my colleague's brand new 2019 Corvette Grand Sport engine black says "CHINA" on it. He is beyond pissed off. He first saw 'Made In China' on his oil tank, then he started looking elsewhere...

With all the different brands of oil out there, they need to quit using garbage in their higher end models and this most likely would not happen..And the parts they use to build higher end need to be quality, since they are charging a premium.....for what? If anything over the years the oil QC is better...GM n BMW are full of .....

I may dye the board and I still need some black screws and maybe a black string tree. I like the cut on the nut so I may have to dye it too...

...also want to paint the trem cavity.

Thanks! I can't wait to get this finished and see how I like the 24.75" scale on a Strat!

I also have a Mojotone Lee Dickson Blackie Stratocaster Prewired Pickguard incoming that may take residence in this one.

If not here then it's going in that MIM Pawnshop find I posted a while back. The pickups in that one are not doing it for me...
