Saw a deal on some minty GBs on the local CL, and couldn't resist.
G12M-25's - 16Ω (UK), $140 for the pair.
Pulled from a Friedman 212 in a speaker swap.
FG28 date codes - June '21.
Seller offered some of his other stuff that he had listed, and I said throw the JHS Notaklon and I'll bring 2 Franklins.

Looks like they were "disconnected" with some wire cutters.
Actually, glad he didn't make it any worse.

Cleaned up the mess...

The Notaklon is probably going to wind up on the 800.

Did a little bit of speaker comparisons.
Greenback sound great with the Haze15, but not as good as the G12 Vintages I got in those cabs.
So, I tried it with one of my Origin20's and they are bumping out the Tone Tubby alnico reds.

. Lots of positive reviews on the Notaklön’s. I bought two of them direct from JHS. I still have one in its sealed shipping package. The other one, I built the kit in about 30 minutes. It would have been 10 minutes, but it was the 20 minutes that I spent laughing at how ingenious the whole package was created by JHS, that prolonged the time to build it. I did not use the supplied tube of goop to cover the unicorn diodes. I eventually gifted the built Notaklön to a good friend, and he loves it!
