New Fret Radius Bender Day

I sense a bit of stainless steel in Rays future.:D
Congrats!
I love my guitars that have them, but when it came time to buy them to install for myself, I thought it pointless. After all, with the number of guitars I have, what are the odds of me ever wearing down the frets on even one of them, much less doing it more than once. No need to suffer the extra difficulty of installation and wear and tear on my tools caused by SS frets

Great price and great score Ray, half of what StewMac charges. Looks like it'll last a lifetime.
Funny, but in all the instruments that I've built & repaired, I've never used one.
Never needed it except once , I usually buy bulk fretwire & it comes on a spool, when I get it it's "pre radiused" in about a 14" circle.
I just cut it to length and undercut the edges, then tap it home.

Once I bought fretwire from StewMac when I needed some in a hurry, it came in straight 2 foot lengths.
So I just carefully arced each 2 ft. piece before cutting to length.

I can see the consistency & uniformity of using the tool though. Especially for the straight fret wire and older Fender boards with the tight 7.25" radius.
