My first classical guitar. The first time anyone has gifted me a guitar. I have member Tony S to thank for both of those things (not sure of his screen name here - he only pops in once in a while).
Tony said if I could bring it into playing order and I wanted it, it was mine. I wanted it, and it did not need much to bring it into playing order.
The body and frets were like new. The piezo element and saddle were missing. Tony mentioned that it previously had intonation issues.
The piezo element was plug and play on an 1/8 inch jack. Easy replacement.
The saddle was an oddity. The slot is 1/4" thick and 2 3/4" long. It took a while to find out how this was supposed to work, but someone on a forum mentioned that it came to a pyramid on top. So I bought this oversized Graph Tech blank and went to work shaping to size.

It now plays beautifully, acoustically and electronically, and the intonation is spot on. It really sounds wonderful. I am both touched and happy at this generous and thoughtful gift.
Thank you Tony!! I will cherish it!
