So they take a revered amp and make it solid state and say it is a modeling amp that only models 1 type amp
to capitalize on the modeling craze in amps.

And...the kicker is that it costs almost as much as the amp it models. This is a real head-scratcher for me.

Nope . . . your safe on this one.

One more thing about that amp, when he had it cranked up the reverb seemed to start to run away it sounded like to me.

I remember in high school, one of the guitar players in a local band had a Super and I though it was the greatest amp I ever heard and always wanted one.
To this day I still have never owned one. Closest I have come is play through a 4x10 cabinet with a Bandmaster head.
Maybe one day when I grow up I will get one.
