New Family Build - Amp Cab

Why not go with the entire family name?

Or a variation that incorporates elements of the name and the word family?
You can superimpose an A and an F and get interesting things from them.

Do we have a graphic designer in here any more?
If not, I am very close friends (extended family close) with a really good one.

Thanks Tony! as long as it is not too steep, I would consider it.

I love your mom! Paisley is my Favorite!!! You should cover the thing in Paisley...
Show her my custom cover job...not paisley, but the best I could find at the garage
sales in a real heavy fabric...

Nice! You did an awesome job covering that amp.

In this case, the paisley will be the grill cloth. I hope it is not too heavy. How thick is too thick for a grill?

So we figured that the best way for me to really learn is to work on my own equipment, so under strict instructions, the dust saw started flying today.

I found some good hardwood in the garage that used to be old shelves. It is 9.75" wide, which was nice.

I made the initial box cuts - top and bottom @ 27" and sides @ 14". Here it is unsecured, and placed on top of each other just for a visual

Some parts came in too:

I would like to thank Chili for many safety tips and suggested devices (awesome push stick, featherboard, and outfeed table) that allowed me to have much more confidence for these cuts. I was much more satisfied with my accuracy as a result.

When you get your double bevel miter saw rule one is as follows:

ALWAYS look one final time to see where your free hand is before you bring that blade down.

I only understood the park about watching your free hand. What is a "double bevel miter saw" and "radial arm saw"?!
