Roger bases his Crestwood copies on the late sixties Epiphone Crestwoods with the "Batwing" headstock, like the one Deniz Tek of Radio Birdman bought from Fred "Sonic" Smith of the MC5. Wayne Kramer also played the Wilshire version. Steve Marriott played an early sixties model with the three on a side headstock. Roger is a huge MC5, Radio Birdman, and Hellacopters fan. He's made guitars for Deniz Tek of Radio Birdman and Nick Royale of the Hellacopters.
