I went and got myself a new '57 Custom Champ. I really like the way this small amp sounds and looks. When I went to register it with Fender, I realized how bad and stupid their web pages are. I still don't know if I did it right or not. I figured I did it right but, what a ball bust. I spent a part of the day getting worked up having to deal with social security and their nazi approach to treating the American constituency. If that does not get the average person pissed, then nothing will! Fender has the number inside the amp on a sticker. There are other stickers and crap in there also to throw one off. I'm really impressed with the tone. I used my Strat Special and my LP standard burst with BB Pros. Both sounded excellent. Set volume on amp and adjust your sound with the volume tone on your guitar. I'm still playing catch up since I lost my Dad last December. Last two days I have done much needed yard work in the back. I got the front yard under control looking respectable for now. Tomorrow I might have the back done. My Honda lawn mower was running sluggish today. I need to look in the manual. I think I might need a new spark plug but, I'll look in the manual tomorrow. I'm still hurting with Sciatica but, at least I can still pull off some yard work. My burst sounded so fantastic today that I know I'll have to run it through the Champ again tomorrow. A few hours in the yard tomorrow and then I'll jump in the shower and play with the musical toys again. I know you guys want to see photos. I'll try to put some up soon.
