New bass in da HOUSE .....

Sweet deal!!!
Other than the obvious visual, how does it vary or sound compared with your P40?

thanks Gents-- HAHA right Johnny--- 1 BIG OL coil splitable humbucking TOASTER pup (ala PEAVEY) in the MIDDLE position ---

the T-40 having the identical pups ---bridge and neck position with same single/dual coil ability ---loads of tonal variations with the 1 volume 2 TONE knobs ---one essentially deals the amount of "split" for lack of better terms 1 is BUCKER---10 is single and the rest are variables of from what I can tell.
1 more fret than the T-40 so ....there is that--- its HEAVIER than the T-40 (yes--- HEAVIER) --- only 1 pup route....so WAY MORE WOOD than the The T-40....

Have NOT been able to do a sound test back to back as the grand kids are in for a visit for a few days--- and well......its not I think they could possibly HURT the T-40--- I am concerned it could HURT THEM!

The T-45 is "punchy" --- I would say this is Peaveys version of a MUSIC MAN bass from days gone by ----

Currently loaded with round wound bass strings (yuk) it will be getting some ROTOSOUND Jazz FLATS tomorrow that are in a drawer just DYING to be used.

QUITE happy with the trade----- I also purchased from this fellow a T-40 NECK in pristine condition with metal nut and tuners in tact--- the one on my T-40 is a bit battered and worn down so I am going to swap that out as well.--- Hell of a deal on the neck only 65.00. (they can go upwards of 150.00)

AND to round out the trade ---
The MARSHALL CODE has left the building --- and a BUGERA V-5 has entered --- one of the amps I regretted ever selling and NOW I HAVE ON BACK --

The 2 Marshalls below the Buger give me ALL THE MARSHALL goodness I ever need.......and I dont have to DEAL with BLUETOOTH!

Not that it matters but is the new neck the same year as your existing?

No actually the new neck is a OLDER (but in better shape) by a couple years the neck I just purchased is a '79 -- I will keep the original that goes with the body ---had thought of selling if same date range --- but as they are not--- I will keep it as a back up--- it works fine just not as pretty ;)

Where's the other two pickups??? You know Hackmaster won't approve...
its a bass --- three pickups is
A two complicated
B gosh
C. for guitar players :)
D. makes the guitar lighter and it does less damage when you bludgeon some smart ass heckler to death with it----
:)

Yo e, I know you said you want to keep the other neck, however, let it be known, that I want which ever neck you don't use.
You know I'll grab it and wretch it from your Ferengi grip. Those necks are soooooo thin. I want it. I must acquire it for my treasures...
I shall wait for you in the barter areana, sir.

its a bass neck Hack---- the T-series bass necks are a LITTLE bit thicker than the Guitar necks---HOWEVER the UNITY SERIES neck through bass guitars --- are AMAZINGLY thin

However--- if YOU want it we might be able to see .....

Curses... Those 6 string necks are outstanding.
No need for a bass neck.
Oh well.

Score yourself a T-series--- prices are GOING UP-- but they are still WAY LESS than comparable late 70's early 80's era Gibbbos-Fenders-or oh wait PRS wasnt around then......er sorry
BUWAHAHAHAHAHHA
