I hinted about the EVH Stealth like Steve got and I tried one.
I like! I decided to keep it and put the 6505 MH in the band trailer as a backup.
I also mentoined awhilw back I got a JMD 1x12 combo so I could ditch the full size JMD head.
Reasoning? If I am hauling a full width cab to go with the head, I might as well use the JVM 4 channel.
Made the JMD head very redundant. Combo gives me tons of options in smaller venues.
It is a digital preamp amd 50 watt tube power section.
It has side handles too!
Will do a quick video of some of tne modes I like.
I changed out the meh G12 - 70 MD speaker for a Creamback G12H-75. Sounds way better it sounds alive now.

Dude! That looks crazy versatile.
I don't even care about built in fx as i always have a board of some sort. But, in a rehearsal or jam or maybe just 1 set scenario, I can access Chorus or flanger on Modulation and delay separately. Might be enough to cover 1 hr set. All accessed via 6 button footswitch.
I set the mode for whatever basic rhythm tone I want and use the channels (presets) for other tones - clean, solo1 , solo2 etc.

Here is a short video of some of the tones. Some not so useful.
For those who think Why is he gained up so much?
Cause that's how I do. I don't play chords that fade to clean, I want them to bloom into feedback.
The missus was upstairs on the phone so it was way quiet too. I didn't monkey with the clean section, as long as there is a reasonable clean for the rare time I am fine.

Anyhoo pretty cool amp.

F n Love it!!!

I thought each setting was an excellent example of outstanding overdrive. I know you dirt guys have different names for different OD-Distortion-Crunch, But I can’t differentiate from them. I’m the King of Cleans. But I know a good OD when I hear it. Crunch to the max, yet still articulate. Note and chord separation and definition. And thats what I heard on this demo. I’m. Going back and listening through the Bose.

I had the JMD , it’s a good option for versatility. I am surprised Marshall never re-issued it.

Some of the modes are over the top and will not have that. The basic single channel crunch from the JCM800 is pretty close ror that type of lower gain crunch. I didn't play that one. Many sound pretty similar too the Deep ones have more thump. I only need like 3 decent ones.

When I had the JMD head , I ended up trading it to (ghostman ) for a DSL. Back then , you could buy that head for $500.

I was on a kick back then trying to learn Harvester of Sorrow. I don’t remember what setting I used but it did a decent job, my playing was and is still lacking. It was quite a few years ago.
