Guess I never grew up. Actually. Reasoning is a bit more pragmatic. I have tried it. Had to add so much sugar and cream to it I figured why bother. Took the same approach with coffee I have with whiskey. If you’re not stout enough to do it straight…. Don’t do it.

Let's hope the derailment stays on track (see what I did there?)

Funny, I never knew there were so many famous people named Neil!

Crazy that Neil Young is #1 at most famous and Neil Armstrong is #3 on this list , thought it IS playback FM so, I can see that reasoning. Yet, #7 is Neil deGrasse Tyson and #9 is Neil Peart....so now I'm confused lol

I think if this was 35 years ago, Neil Diamond would have been the hands down winner, no questions asked.

As for Neil Armstrong, people are more interested in the web universe than the actual one now!

Saw Neil Diamond in concert in 1993. Played the brand new civic center in Moline Illinois. Opening night for the place. Somehow I scored tickets. Tickets that sold out in like 5-10 minute. (12000 seats) The dude was an entertainer for sure.

PS: should add. There were people lined up at the ticket office for like a day or two. I sat by my phone in the comfort of home and at 10:00 am when they went on sale…. Dialed Ticketmaster. Got thru on less than 5 tries. Score tickets.

I had to switch to black tea. Coffee messin with my gut. What happens when ya get old.
I’ll do iced tea. I think I have a thing about hot drinks. I tend to drink juice with breakfast.

Probably true on both counts! Neil Diamond drew a surprisingly large fan base throughout the 80s with the soundtrack from The Jazz Singer, "America" and oddly enough, getting a UB40 cover of "Red Red Wine" hit the top of the charts. And he even had a strange resurgence of success in the 90s with "Sweet Caroline" being played at Red Sox games and then other teams ripping that off.

And yeah, most kids now unfortunately could tell you who Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Tim Cook and Jack Dorsey are but probably would get stumped if you asked about Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, Alan Shepard or Chuck Yeager.

The Super Bowl is in LA this year and the Rams could repeat Tampa Bays first ever of the team winning the SB in their own stadium.
