Sèrgio my old bucket died. My need was a newer car. So I spent my "Strat money" on a down payment on a pristine low mileage Lincoln Zephyr fully loaded car. Didn't need another guitar but I sure did need a dependable car.

Thanks Tony. It's a posh ride as my neighbor said. My brother in S. Dakota said Lincoln's are space shuttles.

Ooooohhh! Went to see a buddy in town that owns a pawn shop. He had called for assistance on a weapon he has and was a model I still have many parts for. After making a quick repair and a quick buck, I meandered about the shop a bit. Dad blasted carnsarn it! Wouldn't ya know I'd see three, yeah, three Starcasters in near perfect condition! Two black and one burst! Damnit! I actually forced myself not to even pick one up! And they were all tagged with $98.99 a piece! Man it's hard to resist.... Yeah my hearing sucks and I can't hear half the crap I play. And yeah, I could eliminate a few items from shopping and get one... that burst was nice.... But the Borg will never get me. For me, resistance is not futile! 
Edit: I am having mental images of me fondling that burst. .
The Starcaster is a very unappreciated yet vibrant instrument. Far greater than they're credited.

I'm still resisting. 
I feel like the kid squirming around in the middle of the store with his mom that's just about to start hollering "I want it!" repeatedly pointing at some toy of unbelievable interest. Naturally the kid needs this toy like another hole in the head. So if I leap from the shopping cart and throw myself to the ground kicking and screaming like that kid.... Do me a favor. Forget all that politically correct nonsense and turn me over your knee and whip my ass! I ought to have better manners than that.
