NCSD- Serious Gas..The 2Stroke kind. New Chainsaw content

UPDATE:

I managed to get my original Stihl saw running nicely after replacing the old fuel line and impulse line and putting a $40 new carb on it. Unfortunately I had to buy 2 of each of these lines as I somehow lost my bag of them I bought on Tuesday before I could install them today.

I am planning to put a rebuild kit in the old carb and have it ready in case I ever have running issues with this saw or my new/used one after I rebuild the top end on the new/used one.

It sure is a relief and feels good to have a properly running saw after putting time and effort into diagnosing what is wrong. Knowing there shouldn't be too serious an issue due to the non abusive manner in which I used the saw the past 20+ years, left me willing to do it all myself in figuring out just why she was acting up in the first place.
