New Celestion Neodymium Copper Back Speaker Day...

Well, almost...with a slight shipping delay.

12", 250 watt, Neodymium magnets, 16 ohm, English Made 100db SPL and less than 5 pounds each!!!

With these speakers, my mahogany 2x12 cabinet will weigh only 24 pounds.

Powerhouse!!!

Celestion's "offshore"? quality is a joke.

I blew up a brand new G12M-65 with my DSL40C. Then, I killed a new G12H-75 with the same 40 watt amp and heavy resonance settings at screaming volume levels.

@Mitch Pearrow SJMP was there and can attest to our volume levels.

The only speakers that could handle the abuse were:

Jensen Stealth 80 watt Neodymium
Jensen Jett 100 watt Neodymium
WGS Custom Built 55Hz Reaper HP
Electro-Harmonix 12VR75

Nothing else could hang....

I still have these speakers on hand as emergency spares.
 
These speakers are just amazing...the clarity, headroom and sheer volume is incredible.

My previous "cranked" EQ settings (needed when using Creambacks and other speakers) have now been pulled back to more neutral settings.

My bass is now at 10am, mids at 1pm and highs at 2pm.

The Copperback 250 watt Neodymium doesn't color your tone with exploited frequency responses, Instead, it delivers so much depth and clarity that it's difficult to describe.

The build quality of these 'Made In UK' speakers are second to none, and they are worth every schilling.

Depth and clarity... I wonder how they would compare to the Weber Cerwin Vega clones?
