Kinda have a void now, thouroughly have enjoyed the gear research & learning. last 2 pieces of gear rolled in today.

Peavey 212-6 cab with Celestion Greenbacks. The Mesa 50 caliber+ rig is amazing. It's sorta a way dif mesa..it is mids & punch but has a raspiness attitude..then back er down & the raunchy blues..It loves greenbacks. the 2 2x12's together is very punchy.

TC Electronic Wiretap. Finally on the boost board in front of Recto-Th30 side of room..unlimited idea capture. Have a ditto on other side in front of Marshall's but it only stores 1 idea.

Been a wild ride of tone chasing..cut the room back to the keepers. Hallway full of for sale. Probably have to trade & re sell a bit to clear out, the chasing & driving days are done. Time to focus n the music..maybe record a song or 2. Maybe another SG or Ric bass in trades but set up pretty good for variety in recording.

They are very well made. Have used that bottom v30/t75 on way over half my recordings. Paired up..this is a very good sounding..projecting match.

Purposefully got this particular cab & greenbacks for the sound it puts out. Ran everything through it today..the marshall's sound great..classic Marshall sound of greenbacks..maybe a hair more mid push in this cab than my others. yeah, i would def say that about both cabs..they do punch in a forward fashion vs the 4x12's & both of them together is very tight. The 50 Cal on it has so much focused usable mids but not in the V30 & newer design speakers type way, but yet tighter than most of the other greenbacks.
 
Have to give props & a report after use. Excellent cab BUT it is being used for tighter crunch & leads. Initialy got it for some classic compression & laid back a tad. The China greenie..love it..hope it doesn't break in more..lol

with the v30/t75 under, it does very nice things & is very full across the EQ. Not 1 speaker dominates out in the room. The top has a greenie slight break that adds some edge. In comparison to the English greens, tighter but in a way i sure hope stays.They record so darn good.

This Rig is done ! DSL & 3203. DSL might get the live work..getting the 2205 has me tweaking it like never before & appreciating the DSL more & more. Will try 2205 & DSL together soon in a song.

Committed to running Marshall's & when i get another guitarist, there is the Triple, 50 Cal+, Orange TH30 to pair, so we be full in the mix and out of eachothers way
