Orange 412PPC HP8 - 400 Watt Stereo cab with Celestion GK12-100 100 watters

This is what 2 weeks of swapping cab after cab & speaker after speaker..moved my gear room around like crazy..chords everywhere for a week. war zone. The Marshall Small Cab with 5150's & Swampers is strait punch..this is that &everything around it & tight !!. The Mesa 50 Caliber+ is an animal now. Wasn't getting the EQ wanted out of my other cabs for the next song..actually held off on recording longer than ever did before during this search. Prob 3-4 songs ready to go quick now.

Whatever the k100's are..they knock that lil bit of marshall fizz that can agitate right down, just slammed plexi & 2 DSL's into it. These things might be transparent in a way cause i am hearing some tone in these amps passing through...maybe a fullness & clearness..up through the mids but no way scooped. Not even going to mix speakers in this cab. Was sitting with my back against it playing real low while was dispatching. Even works at less than TV levels. Turned my green pedal distortin up & OD it. very workable that low
 
Interesting..instinct had me bring the Recto forward with the cab &Speaker selection & it knocked what everybody dumps on it for right away. The the 50 Cal+ which is very mid forward for a Mesa added bottom with the cab not the amp..in fact used both cabs to to sorta filter the bottom ends..Recto taking away & tightening up & the 50+ making bigger-rounder-thumpier. All done with allwing the circuit to breathe without rediculous EQ changes..also mids up !! Recto is way dif amp then what was seeing on vids. So much low - mid gain sounds available..up--at you & present to be had.
