Thanks. I actually have a bit of guilt over the purchase. It is clearly more than I need a the moment, but they say to grow INTO tools, not out of them, and to buy the best you can afford. I have the room and the funds, so I went for it.

As soon as I read Cast Iron Trunnion System that was all I needed.

I had a pro level wood shop for many years, you learn very quickly when it comes to tools "Buy once, cry once"

Once upon a time I owned a Laguna.

Wth an extension I could re- saw 24" logs.

With the extension pillar. It makes itself irreplaceable very quickly.
There is so much a good- tuned bandsaw can do. I think I used a book by Mark Duginsky on set up, tuning, jigs, ideas etc...

Very nice! I almost got the Laguna. It was a toss up.

It is only overkill for my current usage...but the wheels are turning!!
