Been on the hunt for "the" bass.
Fender Mustang, SD pickups, set up just right, what an incredible neck. This bass is a good story on how it copied an Older Mustang & went after the specs to nail the old neck & thump of the early Mustangs. Just an amazing sounding & playing instrument

NOTE: to self ..before adjusting amps & buying all kinds of bass gear, get a 2nd bass (P or Mustang)one set up with flatwounds..it literally is the sound in a mix on most of the music i really like.

Love the Mustangs! I have one of the old Squier versions(with the standard single coil guitar pickup) kicking around here…but sadly…it’s not mine. I gifted it to my roomie years ago, on a whim. She had mused about learning to play bass, but feared that her tiny digits wouldn’t cut it. I came across it at a local brick & mortar, played it for a few seconds, and purchased it immediately. I knew it would setup perfectly, and it did. Most everyone that has played it has offered to purchase it from her.

Sweet bass there BFT .Notice how nice the strings all line up on the fret board.Not all do.I check weird stuff on guitars.Anyway looks to be a keeper.

It's incredible..2 SVT's into fridge & Berg 610nv. Oh man, thud actually with tone rolled off..in the best of thud ways lol

At my stature this thing fits, the string spacing is between a jazz & P which is right on in my case. The picking fingers seem to flow , not too close..not too far apart..man am i psyched for this audition next Tues. Showing up with this & SVT Pro 2 & Berg 610NV cab & a tuner.
