Since I am brand new to bass, I actually measured during my first set up. 
(For the relief and the E and G string action heights).
I dont have radius gauges so I just eyeballed the A and D string heights.
I used this source, it is a bit of an infomercial, but has what appears to be good info.
Need to take a closer look at the nut, and check intonation.
But, I am on my way with some basic plucking hand skill lessons om Youtube.
