NAD

Well she is gonna pretty much sit next to my chair where I play so I didn't want anything to loud. The G20 is quit a bit more punch than the G5 but typical tube sound. Not as good sounding as my G20 but the cab sits under the table so it changes the sound a bit but I like it. My LP sounds the best out of all my other guitars, Strats, Tele, and LP Jr. My playing on the other hand is a whole different story..:( All in all, I'm very happy with her.

To be honest.... Many years ago, I learned to thumb my nose at Bugera (Behringer) products as soon as I heard about reliability issues. As I research the Bugera G5, I'm noticing a lot of happy customer reviews with the current crop of Bugeras. This following review of the Bugera G5, by Mitch Gallagher of Sweetwater, is actually well done:

Funny, that this is the first time I've seen Mitch Gallagher demonstrate shredding skills. And even funnier is that towards the end, he tries to talk about the massive sustain of the G5... Yet he demonstrates this by playing a bunch of shredding notes per second... WTF?

My only experince with Bugera is a bass combo many moons ago-- and several of these over the years.
which are small $ -- all tube and feature packed -- and work GREAT for home use.

That new bugera looks great, and so does the one beneath it.

A friend of mind had a 5w bugera combo and had problems with the cab moving and shaking, distorting the sound. I had the same head (T5, I think, just a cheap head, maybe a copy of the VOX nightrain?) with an ENGL 10" cab and it sounded really nice - sad I got rid of it really, but it was pretty loud even on the under 1w settings.
