Guess I can watch my experimental chili pepper "garden" grow in the meantime.
Got some Serranos and some red Habanero starts in the dirt along the ditchbank...maybe they live; maybe they die.

I've been getting Scorpion pepper Tabasco at the grocery store. It's pretty warm. Been putting it on almost everything.

I've had some of those before, some Reapers too. I also grew some Ghost peppers, and tried at a chocolate habanero variety but I couldn't get the seeds to germinate so those were ultimately a failure. One thing I noticed about the superhot cultivars is that while they are HOT, often their flavor is not pleasant if eaten just by themselves. They really do add a nice heat to sauces, jams/jellies, etc. though.
I've done pretty well growing regular chilies like jalapeños and habaneros, anaheims and poblanos, Hungarian wax and such.
I love me some peppers!
