Are you sure your household has consistent and stable AC power?

Since you have recently been experiencing tube-amp goofiness, are they plugged into any gadgetized power strips or conditioners?

Cool, those seem to be nice. I was reading the features on those, and I'm not sure how those might respond if the AC drops well below 120vac.

If a drop in an amp's volume happens again, try to take AC readings from an open socket off the Furman strip.

Any other huge power draining source kicks on at the household, or in the neighborhood during the times your experiencing volume drops?

I periodically check my outlets. They always come in at 115vac
