Final amp, led to a Recto hitting at 50 watts into semi open top & closed bottom rig. It sounds huge..clear. It has the Recto sound but way dif than the Triple..very mid focused & fantastic low gain tone also..real nice clean. Will use the Solo function on this amp. So many sounds in this thing..hard to stop playing.ROV 50 head.jpgROV 50 full.jpgROV 50 rear.jpg

Just tried every cab..the mesa v30's & the open back of the F100 combo..perfect fit. The amp is a lead monster. Its voiced so dif then the Trip & really is present. Really sings.

The cool thing is the Recto aggression without all the bottom. I love the Triple..nothing like it for that deep punch. Can't wait to sit this on it in a mix.

I was just trying to switch gears and wrote some classic/hard rock stuff this weak & laid down 2 drum tracks..kinda reflected n the last song i did about cancer & it came across as."rough" but i really want to headbang while all this energy is pent up from the crap in my life. keeping me grounded with songs to record or i would be pretty bad. JGoo says i have the Pacific NW angst.. think it's Central PA angst lol..can't help what comes out.
If the Mrs isn't singing.. dont have limits cause i feel more & let it rip vs trying to construct a song with the singer in mind. who knows....guess when you pick up a guitar..what comes out..is what comes out...

my cuz the other day..told me to do a bass song or 2 as the lead in the song & then add the guitar..then funk comes out lol..how about dropped tune speed funk with acid trip leads?

Getting to know this amp. It could be that middle ground for my amps humt..where all things led maybe. the 50 watts puts it in the range to work it & it has a serious mid EQ range. The clean is very good & the push clean is edge of breakup..it loves mesa v30's & yet on Jensen's it sorta tilted American & Black shadows strait up rock amp. The Recto agression is there but can be detuned..now the Triple..good gosh in the room it dominates. I run a looper & play them together. I would think as i age the music would calm down..it did for a spell but when these beasts are at proper volume ..its addicting..the fullness. Going to be so dissappointed if life's circumstances never allow me to gig this gear
