Pretty cool, Simulclass..decided to keep 4 6l6's in vs the 2 El34's. Amp is close to the 2c+ . It is so clear..the EV speaker really translates the amps goodness. Seems the Mesa binge has brought about much more precise & articulate playing. Tap the guitar strings & you will get back what you put in for sure. What really surprised me was how good it sounds low. The clean is huge & the gain has so many options, heard a lot of tones in this thing in the short time with it. Will be a hard one to not record with. The leads are huge & they are clear. These earlier mesa's seem to be my zone. No forcing nothing or stomp boxs or speaker swaps,,just plug in & let it rip. Reveals each guitar character pretty well.

here is what i found on the Mark's on the Boogie board

1 - No mark or a little Black dot
- Lean and powerful amp with more output power than a IIC+

#2 - Purple: Reshaping of R2
- R2 was shaped to be more "rounded" and less gain, with improved level

#3 - Red: Final R2
- R2 further developed and very hot. Lead mode is also tweaked to close in on the IIC+ sound

#4 - Blue: Reshaping of R1
- More aggressive preamp gain, reshaping of R1. Power section made akin to IIC+

#5 - Green: Final R1 and Final Lead channel
- Cleaner R1, Lead channel reshaping. Unlike other Simul-Class amps, these Mark III's were wired in Pentode (NOT triode) in the Class A sockets for more power. Power section is same as Blue otherwise.

Can't help what comes out naturally when making songs..but i listen to a lot of funk, jazz & motown, It's a weird mix.. i can NOT dance tho !!
I'm not much of a dancer either lol.

Those songs I remember from the High School dances, started with the r&b, funk, ended with slow dancing to Starship or Chicago.

Oh, the stories! I'm OLD.

The 70's were so cool..the R&B..the rock...even the country was country. The radio was a pretty nice mix. Man towards the late 70's , JP, maiden...all pushing it forward ..

.seems i tapped out around 91 basically musically except for some AIC & heavier grunge & some Alt stuff. never really grasped much after that for some reason.

Definitely fortunate to grow up in that era, couldn't agree with you more if I tried.

lil afternoon rearrange. Wanted to have the window light in more. Made a goal, whatever fit in the window space but allowed access & my side of room, was what gear i would roll with. Just about over. Some amps & guitars in hallway but pretty much got it done.

Gotta love Monkey Wards, new clothes, a bolt on LP copy, or a set of tires all in one store!

I really believe we got in on tail end of innocent America, what a great time to be a kid.

Except for those clothes lol.
Oh yea for the most part deck shoes, from Gemco, Levi’s, and white T-shirt’s . But I did have a couple of pairs of striped bell bottoms lol
Cheers
