Marshall Artist 3203--mistakenly traded mine last year
EL 34 30 watt, SS front end-tube power section.
Read the reviews on this . Its true. Was going to get new studio but my friends had me play em . They are very good but think i am used to a lil more bottom end or power .the 3203 can nail that & then some for $300

The clean chan is arguably Marshall's best..it takes pedals & will not fizz & dimed its old school crunch. The gain chan..from 7 to dime is 800 ish gain 'like a modded one

30 watts hits just right..seem to be running all my amp close 35 watts...records well & right kick drum level. What i really like about it is..its precise..will show off a speaker..this was my lead amp all last year's recording. Will post a song done in studio on from last year.

paired it up w/1960bv early gt75 & Vintage30..very loud on this cab..acts like a 50 watter. .couldn't dime it for too long

was real robust clean/tight with 425a g12c
classic compressed sound 1960bx g12m
great lead tones w jensens,,crisp
modern gt75/v30..def a lil modern sound compared to bv loaded cab.

This & the VM are such great all around amps for gigging. respond to guitar controls real well. Got lucky the VM footswitched worked with it3203c.jpg

Very intersting...after my quick test on cabs with Schecter. Came back & sat in front of cab. Got SGJ out..its bright & cuts with the 61 pups, It seemed to do the heavies way too easy. I never use eq in my M's, come to depend on the brightness in away. Downtuned & it stayed very tight for a Marshall in the mids., frown on EQ pedal still did not brighten up. Opened er up, has mesa el34's. Popped some mullards i have sitting around..there is was. The mids came back. Also has a Drake tranny . think the c13 is clipped. When i get time will check it out. think going to send out to my guy & get a prescence knob put on the back. Realized how much i depend on that for the shift. Also very interseting between the shredder & SGJ,,think the shredder taught me some stuff haven't been doing for a long time. I think the SGJ is as fast & def more articulate.3203d.jpg3203e.jpg
 
When my 2500 arrived from Cali it was loose in a box 3 times the size of the amp. The previous owner was a little perturbed that I got it for $465 shipped off Ebay, but still. At least mine was in a box.
 
Contacted seller & was just honest. He said he didn't know. Forgot..someone could be selling an amp that doesn't play. Now i know why he didn't answer my question after i bought it. He doesn't play. He asked me what i wanted to do. It is working...pre tube was loose. It's alil darker than the one had before...just send it to tech i guess.
