The 50 cannot switch between preset 1and 2 and panel, which is a real problem IMO. For me.
My bandmate needs a new small backup his old Bandit is dying. But the 50 just doesn't work that well for live rehearsing in that respect.

Yeah, if I was gigging, I'd definitely want the Katana 100, but for just riffing around at home, the 50 does everything I need it to do and more. I have it sitting under my work desk (on the shelf meant for a desktop PC) and when I'm in between tasks/waiting for information to move on and such, I'll fire it up and jam for 5-10 minutes before getting on with the day.
 
I had a Katana. Honestly, this little Soldano crushes it. I’d rather have one perfectly executed tone and a pedalboard than 5-6 okay ones any day. I lauded the Katana when I first got for the versatility it but once I started to understand how average all the tones were I got rid of it. This little Soldano is a proper amp and has balls to spare for something so small.
 
Hey, I noticed that all but the Soldano version are on sale right now (guess its the most popular one?).

hinking hard about picking up the Diezel one.
