Yeah, if I was gigging, I'd definitely want the Katana 100, but for just riffing around at home, the 50 does everything I need it to do and more. I have it sitting under my work desk (on the shelf meant for a desktop PC) and when I'm in between tasks/waiting for information to move on and such, I'll fire it up and jam for 5-10 minutes before getting on with the day.I have the 100 only because it can use the 6 button footswitch. I generally run it like any amp with the panel setting except for special things - cleanish, and 2 solo channels.
The 50 cannot switch between preset 1and 2 and panel, which is a real problem IMO. For me.
My bandmate needs a new small backup his old Bandit is dying. But the 50 just doesn't work that well for live rehearsing in that respect.
Sounds great tho.
