Stopped by local mom & pop music store cause saw they had Peavey Delta Blues 15. Was looking at 68 Bassman drip edge & matching cab but decided against it. Remembered the Peavey Delta had before & it is a very good amp but right before i went to payplugged into this. 1 note ! 1 freakin note & knew from having one before. Ya just can't outdo the Fender at that clean & raunchy OD
1978 Fender pro Reverb-yes its linear which is complete nonsense on the forums. Had that Super 6 Reverb linear & it was the best low volume big sounding ever heard. This is very similar. The MV works & can actually dial this thing in from a whisper to band level. Have the Volume dimed on both channels so its cooking & master going up just gets nasty. Hit it with a Caitlinbread 5f6 & tweed OD immediately & the Simble(luckily saved in case got another Fender & there was that low mid thing.) Also nice aged speakers. Amp needs nothing but will prob have tech go ever.
