Was so picky about this one, got it from a trusted source where my 6100 came from. It has an extra tube for gain but it is done right. Is is normal 2204 till noon then holy smokes from noon to 3 is thick insane gain that slices and dices just like a modded 2204 should. Then 3 o'clock to dimed it saturates in very doomish way but not Orange way, more together but still nasty.
This and the Orange Rocker 30 together is going to be what i was looking for going forward with this next batch of songs.

What, you say something...lol... oh i fed it last night, at volume. There is something from JCM 800 era backwards in the Marshall amps that punch & at volume is the equation you use in Marshall for your core tone. It is just there ! The punch, the kerrang, the slice and dice leads. It is a transcending experience and you play way dif when you and the signal chain do togethe,r whatever you will it to ! The touch response is insane !

Great report, just played the whole set. because of the dynamics in these songs, need a clean clean quite a bit. Running the 2204 in the gain zone i like makes it difficult. But, put the Klon clone on de gained, is it perfect, no but will work and live shows, it doesn't quite matter as much.

No doubt from here forward will take into account on the writing new songs if the 2204 will be gigging. My gut says if this is possibly last year or 2 gigging. Go out how you want to play vs all the worrying. let it rip

EQ in loop now. Think it is going to go live next gig.

Thanks, no kidding. I objectively played our full set 5 times today though my 5 amps. The 2204 just has "it" The SL 100 R/T is close. Believe going to alternate them every other gig just for the fun of 2 dif attacks. The 2204 is def more aggressive & slightly brighter
