AB763 circuit. Found a great match with the Semi open 2x12, Celestion Type V & Celsestion Crate V12. Fantastic from low level to 4 & up just add boost & it really sings. Super clean also when needed for chords. Takes pedals so good. can't stop playing the Super 6 & this all week. No frills ..pretty much turn em up & enjoy68 BandMM (2).jpg68 BandM rear.jpg68 BM front (2).jpg

I've been curious about the Band Master. Seen a few for sale. Might try to pick one up as well.
What i like about it is

It hits at a great level..with those celestions..really brought mids out but not obnoxious mids..very usable mids in leads & chords

honestly reveals guitar & pedals for their character

has its own mojo clean & then 4 on up on Volume starts t break..but in a full type way..not a quick dirty like a Super reverb but not as late as a twin. So the notes can stay defined..the Super 6 reverb taught me that also..i been running too much break at times last few years..now i like t find the edge & kick it with dif type pedals..then its so precise..no fizz unless you want it there.

It seems like it is just a great pedal amp..the circuit is simple & def pass through what goes in allowing the speaker choice to enhance your needs

it didn't like the bassman cabs & closed back as much as a semi open..jus a tiny bit going out the back brought the amp to life..take the pedals off..it really reveals the acoustic quality of the guitar..the notes ring & are very defined & full

If you play them loud, you don't even need a pedal to hit the sweet spot. I played an early 60s/ late 50s Bandmaster back in the 70s. The one I played had tweed covering on both head and cab. They have a really cool tone. To play at respectable spl one could use pedals with these gems. The one I played was not mine. It had tone to the bone. Love these amps!

NIce Score!!
You are amassing quite a collection.
actually dwindling it all down..lol..we been stuck in the house for close to 4 years now. I would of gone nutz without something to do.. was never one to be indoors much. My gear was simply for using in a band & never fussed with it much.

just had it all here to a/b compare & keep what favored my playing. What fits in my room is all i kept.

Did another in depth play with it this morning.

paired with those speakers. It really has mids..but not fizzy if that makes sense

the amp is also immediate in response (so is super 6) in comparison to the bassman-pro & Super..guess the SS rec like for response in picking dynamics..it is really evident when all the amps are on at once & you can hear the dif. for raunchier blues like the sag of tube rec

It really works well with pedals

The chan inputs & bright switch allow to set amp with a few ways to play it. It might not seem it when you mess with it,,but if you spend time there..a lot of goodness..or preciseness can be found for what you are working on. I do that with em all to change response in general. Think this one has a pretty tight response across the board even as volume comes up, core tone stays..allowing a consistent sound. Makes setting a few pedals up for your set pretty easy.

The fender's seem to bring out more creativity on my end cause of the awesome cleans & the edge of break... love my marshall's but do get trapped in a box by them at times, so only kept 2 of them. Kinda excited to to get some of the songs cleared out in Reaper as soon a J can sing again & discover new sonic land.
