My Stratocaster Family Minus One...

Nice strats everyone! I've never owned a Fender, but used to have a squire, Dirty Girl custom partscaster and an Epiphone S-210

These are what I taught my grandsons on...

I see what WAV DID HERE!!!! He put family in Stratocasters.

Hey, if you want to do a free set up on that dark two tone I'll loan it to you for your troubles...it's fretting out at the 12th fret on all strings.

Robert has volunteered his services, but we are having a hard time hooking up...

Oh man, I would love to but I doubt you want me setting up your Strat. I can do Gibsons with one hand tied behind my back but Strats for me are always a "process" and then factor in the fact that I haven't owned one in about 6 years so have not done any tweaking of one in a long time (a Fender that is - I did have a G&L Legacy until recently but that is a whole other animal in the setup department).

I know I can't go forever without buying another Strat, and when I do it will almost certainly be a black one with rosewood. My favorite look for a Stratocaster.

Gball, I also have a Strat shaped guitar by Fender. It is a Starcaster that was originally black n white n rosewood. But that was a HSS. Robert gifted me a HH Tortoise shell colored one it now sports.

Black, what’s that multi colored, scalloped one? Got a full pic?

Good idea...I'll work on getting new pictures of that guitar. It's stored in a box in my laundry room. I'll have to dig it out. The guitar is a Squier STRAT Affinity Series that originally was a black colour with a rosewood fret board. It was a real nice pawn shop find and I thought it would make a great paint project and scalloping the FB would be a neat idea. Stay tuned.;)
