My Stratocaster Family...I think I need at least ONE more.

I say you should throw a short scale Strat in the mix - 24.75". I own both standard 25.5 and 24.75 and enjoy them both. The short scale is nice when you do not want to work as hard. It is quite comfortable to hold also.

I don't have $5K laying around to drop on a guitar...and I'm no fan of relicing.

Not $5K, Not relicing. I meant the real deal, the one and only, Rory's guitar the original buyer traded in and then along the way it got stolen and thrown in a ditch to endure the weather and then be bound for glorious and divine creations from Mr. Gallagher.

That's why I said get THAT ONE...

I really dig all your Strats and they all look great and have their own characteristics. I like that you're into Squiers because they are great guitars that can be modded easily if you want and you get a top-notch guitar for a much better price. I really dig your David Gilmour black Strat with that lovely magic neck on/off switch. Did you have the whammy bar arm cut shorter like David has on his Strat? And I must say the white Strat is a real beauty with the flamed maple neck.

I see, now it makes sense, but even less likely!

I like this idea. I had a Hardtail Ibanez Strat copy years ago & they are a different animal while still being strat-ish. They have a more solid sound to them. Cheers

I really want a Hardtail. Even if I buy a floating trem I'm decking it.

The Gilmour Strat has a Calaham Bridge with the shortened arm!
