My second Vox VT30

Lol, ok now I know what sellers remorse is. I sold my Vox VT30 few months ago, picked up a VTX 20 which I still have and a Traynor Valve 40 amp, that I don’t think I will ever sell

But man I missed that VT30 so bad, the 10” speaker in that baby was just right for what we do, and the simplicity of the amp was just right, so why did I sell it

F@@@@k knows, but I knew I needed it back. So I picked up a shiny in the box with the manual replacement for under 100$

I am Happy again now

I have two identical Marshall DSL40C's and in stock condition, both act and sound very different. Have you made this evaluation yet???

Not compared the VT with the VTX, I did find that when I first switched this one on it was so easy just to dial in a clean tone, have not done much else yet

VT and VTX are very different especially in the SOFTWARE realm --

It is quite common for identical amps to "dial in" differently. You see, all the components, even the control pots have a +/- tolerance & are practically never the exact stated value. This means that the circuits all vary a little.
