Many summers ago my dad and I built a 2x12 cab and matching head cab to house my phaez daisycutter 14. It remains my number one amp and never fails to impress me. about the amp. its a phaez daisycutter 14. Its LOUD! "Randy Watts" lol. The cab is an over sized 2x12, its BIG, and the bass response is ridiculous, its acutally really well rounded, it produces a very good frequency of tones. The highs sing and the lows move air. the speakers are WGS green berets (green back clones)

the head cab and 2x12 cab are built with premium pine.

thanks guys! the pine really sounds good. i did a lot of research on what kind of wood to use and i kept coming back to pine for its sonic properties.

Awe c’mon! I’m soooooooo trying NOT to buy a Phaez amp....like...since you came here, and I remembered your father/son cab build thread from another life....soooo fricken cool! Like really good furniture....the stuff that gets passed down, generationally.

I’m gonna edit in a smiley for feel, and intent...

:D

There it is.:celebrate:

OH

HELL

Yesssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!

That is stunningly beautiful, and classy.

Where is this cab build thread?

Have you tried other greenback style speakers, and how do the Green Berets compare?
I have read much good about them.
They are on my radar for a possible 2x10 for my 18w.
