My New Original Music Thread:

Ok,

I have started work on the (4) more original songs needed to complete my 10-song debut CD. I have never liked my own original music, but I am resigned to completing this project. I borrowed @BFT Gibson idea for a "wall thread" for his music, so I will post some updates here in the near future.

I'll kick things off with the first of my originals to be recorded about 5 months ago. Special thanks to Jeremy LaRochelle for his contribution to the song's drum tracks...

Here's the backstory:

"A song I feverishly wrote while in the hospital in March of 2019 while on Morphine for pain. The basic guitar track was recorded after I was released, but while still under the influence. As such, It doesn't follow a normal time signature or normal music structure. This is a glimpse into someone's mind while strung out on opioids... "

Wow

Way cool Robert, that solo guitar sounds like a million bucks!

I think the vocal inflections are just right. Outstanding as usual.

Wow, I REALLY love this one........ keep up the great work brotha.

Your killin it Robert. Dude what always impresses me is your always in perfect tune. Thats no easy feat especially playing at the gain level you do. I never hear quivering notes NADA. I was cursed with the ability to hear these things .I think i inherited it from my Father. Good job Robert.

Thank you, Man. I'm grateful to you for taking the time to listen to it.

I'm hoping that each one gets better...

Thank you for noticing, Goo. Mom was big on being in tune and properly intonated. I got my start in her band, so i had to "skip to my lou," if you know what i mean.

Then, it was hanging out in the control room, asking questions. I too can hear those little nuances and it can really drive a fellow bat poop crazy sometimes!!!!

I always loved Deep Purple and I like the color purple too!!!! Thank you for listening and commenting.... :-)
