My LPs

I'm not a huge fan of LPs, mainly because of the weight, but there is something special about them... A mystique if you will...

I've only ever had one LP style guitar, an Epiphone Les Paul Special II. I bought it as part of a "Player's Pack", with a 10 Watt Epiphone amp, cable, strap, pitch pipe and a dvd.

I traded the guitar in on a Cherry G400, which I extensively modded and now have given to my son.

In a way though, I actually miss that little LP Special... Even though it had a Bolt on neck, plywood body and cheap components... (Especially the crappy tuners!)

It was my first electric guitar, and even though it was a budget model, I had some fun with it.

PS. Nice Les Pauls.

Unlike what I read Alex says, the weight of Lesters does not bother me in the least. Heck my one P bass is 10 Lbs. About what my 1st LP weighed.
