My Jam Room...

Nice, very nice. JTM50's are great amps. How do you find the PPIMV (post phase inverter master volume)?
I've tried every type PPIMV but am not a big fan of them, maybe to just knock a few db off, but any more I don't like.
Here's a couple of pics of the Black Flag JTM50 I built maybe 6 months agoWP_20190413_18_24_45_Smart.jpgWP_20190319_18_31_01_Smart.jpgWP_20190319_18_34_47_Smart.jpg
Marstran PT & Merren OT. The circuitry is as close to period correct as possible, Piher resistors, Philips Mullard mustards etc. Filtering is also as close to JTM50 spec as possible, mains 32uf, screens 32uf, PI 16uf, pre-amp 32uf+32uf. Tubes are all NOS Blackburn Mullard's. 163 series 12AX7's, single halo xf2 EL34's & a 7 notch f32 GZ34 rectifier. Like you, I chose to fit the Welwyn W22 screen grid resistors. The xf2 EL34's screens could handle the resistors not being fitted, but I'd prefer to not shorten their life. Cheers

Beautiful Ivan H !
I like it like you said just to knock off a few DB's.. I like to leave it at about 3/4 .. Nothing less..
But it sounds good for my room...
That's some beautiful circuit work on those amps. Very professional and lots of vintage goodness in there... . What's your choice in trannies?

BTW, awesome jam room, too!
