My History In Music:

Jackson Nut straight from the factory. This is super common. Someone cut and re-filled it at the factory trying to save it.

Most of the time, these were "killed" because they needed a replacement nut. We filled the slots with graphite dust and super glue whenever we could...

Music was my only business....

And business was good...in 7 years of full-time work in the music industry, i was only hospitalized once for exhaustion.

Profit was the driving force....but i would have to scale it back to survive.

It's been an interesting musical career and i have experienced so much in these past 8 years that its almost hard to keep up with.

I had no idea, when i started down this path, that it would take me so many incredible places and that i would meet so many incredible people in this industry.

To think that i supported my family for 8 years, with nothing more than a guitar and an amp, to me, is a very satisfying thing, and we didn't miss not a single day of paid work, throughout the entire pandemic.

To me, that was a huge blessing, because i had nothing to fall back on...it was truly walking a tightrope without a net.

In these past 8 years, i worked on so many commercial musical projects that its almost mind boggling. Everything we do in this industry is regulated by non disclosure agreements and some of the projects that i have been a part of is very, very rewarding.

When many people ask me about my music work, they always speak in such finite terms, such as, "have you ever met ________?"

The answer is probably yes, but i don't think in those terms because i don't feel its any measurement of my work in the field.

What i still enjoy, and how i measure my own success in this arena, is hearing songs on the radio that I've contributed to musically.

Kind of exciting just waiting to see what's coming along next!!!
