Me too. This particular pbass is a frankenbass I cobbled together for my best bud. He hasn't picked it up yet. So... I get to waller it around at my leisure.

One of these days I plan on building a fretless p bass of my own. there is nothing more elemental and visceral than a p bass! And, oh that growl!!!

My MOM and POP shop had one of those Fretless J's on the left when I was buying one of my Jazz 77 off him.

I only have a few bass guitars but a P bass is one of em... and two Jags. Almost grabbed a Bronco bass for $75 last year but was too late.

I keep wanting to get one of them and convert it to a Mustang

Mustangs are very cool! I'm about halfway successful in convincing myself that I absolutely must have a Mustang 90 and a Mustang PJ bass. Don't think the better half would appreciate two more axes in the house.

I've wanted both the bass and the guitar version for a while now. I think they're slick. I love short scale bass.

I like the all maple neck on the Squire better-- really the inerds and pups are about the only difference---
and Fender getting a PRETTY PENNY for the Mustang Basses--- they do have cooler colors--- but I know how to work a spray can

get Broncos and convert them--- show her you got 2 (with mods) for less than 1 --- she will be impressed
