Danny Feeley my good friend passed away on 1/23/25. He crashed his bike, we were born the same year and I went to the same school from 4th grade to High School.
He had a huge family. 6 sisters and 6 brothers.

School was crazy and life was even crazier.
He was a football player in High School. When he got out of school , he joined the Army. He became a Airborne Ranger.
Many things to remember above all he was a daredevil .

As a teenager , he decided to to jump his dirt bike up a hill. I think he was trying to jump the dirt road but he landed on the windshield of a car. Went to the hospital and got casted.

Another time I remember we decided to go to Cal Jam 2, no tickets. We hitched a ride to Ontario and went through 2 fences to get in.
Stayed all day and slept outside before before the cops woke us up in the morning.
Hitched back home. So many concerts and good times.
R.I.P. my brother.

Sorry for your loss man, the older you get? The less friends you seem to have by your own design most of the time and the ones you do have left? It hurts worse when you lose them, because they're the rare, tried and true friends.
That is so true Mike, I called a couple of people yesterday just to tell them we need to hang out.
Thanks for the support everyone.

Boy do I get that. Try being 70. Every year we lose a few more of our HS classmates. Makes those friendships even more special. I’m really lucky to this point. All the idiot guys I ran with in HS are still walking this rock. But that ain’t gonna last forever. I moved 200 miles away from our home town so getting together with them is really no longer possible…. all but a couple are on FB and there’s not many days either thru FB posts or texting we don’t touch base with each other. I don’t take that for granted.

iblive ,It is rare. Danny was the kind of guy that would drop what ever he was doing to help out. He helped me move in 2017.
He was like family.
Yep. My friends mom and dad were second parents. Spent as much time at his house as I did my own. We were inseparable till we both got out of HS and as happens, grew apart by miles but did not grow apart as friends.

I went to Cal Jam, got drunk with the Wolfman, and left him passed out head down on the table.
Good times.
