My feel good news for today

We can really only assume the shop took her for a ride... Maybe they thought they were selling a good amp?? Trying to be hopefully positive ha ha

I'm only going off of a teenage girl's quick story... that I also don't know really well. I've known her for a year or so but not really well or anything .
So there's a chance her story may be a little embellished upon? Maybe not but it's a theory.

I thank you guys for all the kindness and support.
Maybe I'll try to snap a pic (without making it awkward for her lol)

She's a sweet kid, green mohawk, face jewelry and all ha ha and we love having the youth around to encourage as future rockers....it gives our old lives some extra meaning! Today my other guitarist pitched in a tuner for her too.

A couple months ago I gave our bassist a bass and an amp and new strings and a tuner to get her updated a bit as well. I'm happy to do it for them. Wish I could have hung out with old metalheads when I was starting out! How cool would that have been.

It is my bands idea to basically get their band road ready so they can start opening for us. It may happen before too long.

I'm heading over that way in about an hour or so. I'll post how it went when I get back.

Well she was super excited! Trying to maintain her cool rocker attitude, but it was leaking out pretty good ha ha.
They cleaned out her space and were ready and waiting when I pulled in.
She was stoked when we started plugging in and listening to it, I taught them how to run a pedal chain and what order pedals go in to work right.
She ended up choosing the firebrand over the Jackman model. Sounded pretty darn good if I do say so myself.
I sneaked a quick video of her first trying it out.

What a great day.!

Thanks for letting me share.

You are in danger of losing that hard core metal image.

But as the late great Barbarian Bob would say in moments like this!

That gesture is “METAL TO THE CORE!!!”

Well Done!
I am Loving my HB 2x12 cab!
Usa shop

Those are good, I just ordered this one though. (same one I had before). But if you use code Welcome10 they are only like $153 shipped.
I've got 2 G12 T-75's already sitting here.

A little late, but still honor where honor is due... You're a good man, Headache. Regardless of how her bad amp happened, you afforded her a new chance to keep enjoying the beauty of making music and the pure joy that comes with it. And motivation follows...

I've crossed paths with many people in my life, present and previous, and Rockers and Metallers at all levels ALWAYS have been the most authentic, empathic and decent human beings... So, echoing what Live Evil said: THAT IS SO METAL, Bro!!! :dood::dood:

I recently saw a news documentary about this year's Wacken Festival. Even though it rained like hell, the commentators remarked about how Heavy Metal fans are the nicest people, even though they look scary. They said there is more peace and love at Wacken every year, than they ever had at Woodstock. And, because it has survived over thirty years, and only gets better each year, says a lot about the fans.
