No toilet paper, Clorox wipes, or hand sanitizer here either.
I wonder if the supplies will rebound quickly as the surge in demand wanes.
If not, people will start raiding the bathrooms at Walmart, Mcdonalds, etc.

Rubbing alcohol should work right?, followed by moisturizer since it dries out the skin.

Media creates panic through fear mongering and continues to blame other(s) for said fear mongering.
I have never seen anything like this in my lifetime as it affects everyday society to such a degree.

It is serious, but so far no more dangerous, or even AS dangerous than the seasonal Flu.
It is new and unknown, so it is important and a bit scary.

So, since the WOKEs declare references to COVID-19 that include anything China (though they were calling it the Wuhan Virus early on) xenophobic, I will from here on in call it the Chirona Virus.

Maybe the morons in power - both parties in the USA, will realize "Gee maybe a substantial percentage of the production of industry: steel, medicines, etc. should be in the USA in case our good friends in China ever decided to cut us off".

I believe it is going to effect retirement....looking at the financial side of things...man we were on a roll last 10 years...after the 2008 debacle...now just can't pinpoint a number for an ROI as part of a portfolio to draw from until 62.
 
I was temporarily laid off today, because of the corona virus. All kindergartens, schools and bars in Norway were shut down yesterday, to prevent the virus from spreading. 80 % of our brewery's revenue comes from sales to bars. The layoff will last for 14 days or until further notice. It sucks big time. Hopefully the company will pull through.

More people died on US HIGHWAYS yesterday (YESTER - FRIGGIN - DAY) than the "PANDEMIC" (thanks media you SUCK) has killed in total world wide since it started---

oh the fear marketing is amazing--
"IF" --- your elderly "IF" you have compromised immune issues "IF" -- "IF" --- well sorry IF YOU HAVE THOSE THINGS your at risk for ALL SORTS OF CRAP every day of the YEAR-- period--anyway--

IF in fact it started in CHINA --- in LATE 2019 ---in CHINA-- the place that makes EVERYTHING-- its all ready EVERYWHERE -- and has been FOR MONTHS but until just lasty week the MEDIA didnt have a "buzz word and a hard on" for it.

and -- again EVERY YEAR since the planet existed stuff blooms -- people get sick -- viruses spread -- our immune systems adapt and life goes on

ONLY DIFFERENCE for a few billion years------------------the MEDIA DIDNT GIVE A CRAP----
 
Only facts i can post..today..ever since all the PA schools were closed.,,,,no house or car unlocks,,Friday's we are usually 6-10 deep by now..but my 1 tech right now, has a fishing pole with a hook on it...fishing for someone who dropped their keys in a sewer with a non removable grate...aprox 8' down submerged in water...we live for this..the non normal fun ones..lol

my kids are off till April 1st but my business contacts think we going longer than that until the numbers reported starts to decline..

As predicted, no hand sanitizer to be found anywhere in the normal stores.

I found plenty at a certain little store down the street!

My wife has some other ingredients she wants to add to make our own all-natural sanitizer.

Of course, just soap and water would probably work, too.

Well, it is not just a common cold, unfortunately. The corona virus is a lot more contagious than a cold or a regular flu. For the majority of the infected people the symptoms are very mild, but for those more suceptible, people with a weak immune system, it is a lot more dangerous than a regular flu. Another serious problem is the need for respirators for people severely affected. An outbreak like this could quickly grow to proportions where the health care facilities in any country will be unaple to cope with the demand, thus not managing to help people in real need.

And don’t get me started on hoarding... It is a prime example of egoistical behavior devoid of any solidarity towards fellow human beings. There is no shortage of food (or toilet paper), UNLESS PEOPLE START HOARDING. Then many of people will not be able to get what they need because of all the bozos out there.

Another observation..just from my last 24 hr business cycle

The hood...same ol same now....as the night rolled on..typical smoked up .. drinking related calls

Out of city..not near as much movement

the hood will continue to roll on...its a another system in comparison..self contained..own rules & laws outside the norm in a way....i just drop prices to help people out ..for a few weeks...will operate a relaxed protocol...keep the techs paid as calls will drop for sure..no panic...just adjust.....
