My COOL Personal Streaming Library....

If you guys remember back not too long ago I was ripping CDs to WAV files to create my own library to stream to my stereo instead of paying Apple to stream their data. I was with them for a month and built a album playlist comprised of all that I really wanted out there currently. Then I thought why am I paying them to make this list available to me every month when I could get the CDs, or use what I already have to stream my own content - I'm really not a music "seeker" per se.

I set up a stream server on my computer and can now stream all this via a few mouse clicks on my computer or taps on my phone. Either way. The CDs were basically used once to rip, then I throw a clear cover on them and pack them in their box. Easy schmeezy.

I have been thinking of doing that, but not sure why. Pretty much all the CD’s I have have been ripped in my iTunes library , so I can send it to my stereo via Bluetooth from my phone, iPad or pc. How did you do it?
That's pretty much fine and is not too much different than what I'm doing. The only difference is I'm doing WIFI instead of Bluetooth and the protocols are a bit different. You will experience a better quality going WIFI but it may not even be noticeable.
