My Boards..Figured out how 33 pedals to be dead quiet

It is a decent D style pedal. like how it moves the mids in a Fender circuit. kinda use it as a slight mid push but not brit style. I think i did a song last year, yup,,did use it on this

73 Fender pro, Simble & Korean EPI Dot

Sounds great! Really dig the song in general as well.

There's a short video on Youtube where the designer explains the Simble and gives some tips about how he thinks it could (should?) be used. I could try to translate some of that in case you're interested.

Cool. I remember searching for a D style pedal. The Mad Prof really acts like an amp as a final destination pedal. Into the Fender Pro which i use sorta like a Twin(breaking a bit later than my others) it really can run the fine line of subtle mids. Always look for pedals that play to accentuate what the amp already does. The boards are set up that way. Noticed using pedals to change my amps tone was not for me very early on. Catilinbread is possibly the best out there for a demo...the way Howard uses the fender...the pedals sound exactly like his demos.... learned from him the foundation pedal..last in chain...is the key...the ones i use in my top row..all are...they each handle fuzz..TS..anything yu throw at it

2 big things tho

1) amp set clean
2) amp set dirt

2 very drastic ways to hit amps with pedals....my Super with a treble booster is insane lead tones. Took me 2 years to get here but way worth having the Fender amps all dif in how they respond. I dont even put a pedal r anything in an amp when first get it..play every guitar to see what shines..learn that foundation tone...then build around it..never forcing it to be anything other than what it was from the build day.

So I looked through the video I mentioned... Very much of the stuff that you've noticed about it already, like running it as a final pedal on kind of low-medium crunchy settings to "smooth out" harsher/brighter overdrives in front of it... Also one interesting bit was that the "default" setting of the contour knob is full on and not at 12'o'clock like they start from in "internet videos" :) And it's been designed with a LP with SD Antiquities so use that for the most authentic experience I guess ;).

Good thing I'm not after that kind of tone so I don't have to get one :D Might have something coming in the mail that has equal trade value around here..

Well damn. Got an almost too good deal on a Twimble (Simble OD + Predriver combined). Sounds pretty nice!

Also swapped one of my FX80B's for a little tweedy drive so should have that soon as well.
