Multi-Color Gypsy Rose SX Guitars:

I don't see why not. We'll have to research prepping a Strat body. Many old Strats were sprayed over back in the day, even Gilmours Black Strat!

I've done a lot of refinish and paint on guitars. Basically, I just prep with a good degreaser, then follow with #400 paper and then Scotch-Brite to get around the edges. You can spray just about any colors and clear over them with something like U-Pol or any other clear, but the paint job isn't critical. It takes weeks for U-Pol to dry, so maybe we will clean/polish whatever we got and that will be good enough!!!!

We have a Black Base to start with. If we want bright colors we may need to spray it grey or white first.

I have a body that has no markings, it was plastered with stickers, after quite a bit of attention and solvents, I managed to get the stickers off and repainted it red0CE71B8F-196C-4E16-944E-20904B09B6D9.jpeg

So far I have a body with the bridge, a neck with tuners, various pick guards and a set of pickups, a 5 way switch, knobs and a back plate. Looks like all we need
to come up with are some pots and the work to put it all together...
