Mr Tudball

Ensign Parker....black and white TV. Watched almost every one of those shows. RIP.

RIP Mr. Conway.
Great comedy without profanity or vulgarity.
Not knocking the raw stuff but not doing jokes about yer ya-ya's leaves a lot less material to choose from to generate the ha-ha's.

Yes, priceless when Tim and Harvey Korman doing live scenes and Tim keeps making Harvey laugh during the bits.
And once it starts Tim just keeps mugging faces and gestures even more making Harvey laugh more.

I loved the Mr. Tudball sketches on the Carol Burnett Show when I was a kid.

I think this is the ultimate Tim Conway piece, though, and is probably the funniest comedy sketch I've ever seen.

agreed-- one of the best ever!!! As I recall from later interviews --- he was TOTALLY making that crap up --
Van Dyke cant even hold it together --------

Yup. Even a seasoned pro like Dick Van Dyke couldn't hold it together.

But, Vicki Lawrence's last line (also a complete, on-the-spot improvisation) blew them all out of the water...even left Conway on the floor!

Man, I miss the innocent, '70s style sketch comedy and humour.

Such a different era...

we used to watch --- just for the OUTAKES---the mistakes -- the miscues--
Saturday night live and SCTV were great for those---in the early days--
