I had no idea there was an mp3 cable. What does it do?
Does it connect a player to an amplifier or computer audio?

Looks like a good old-fashioned 3.5mm stereo audio cable to me.

I've bought quite a few in various configurations over the years.

It's been trial and error re: signal/sound quality and durability.

In my chav days i did use with my cars clockradio make sub woofer go woof woof

now in my car cd player been broken for 4or 5 years still have not fixed it, waiting for newr car with more bling. The clockradion that has bird coming out when its 12 and says ku qoo

Well i got my new cable yesterday, It works well no interference, no loss in volume. 6ft.6 long, its flexible. better constructed than my older one, as you can see from the pictures . even got an email back saying they were returning my shipping charges, due that they didn't ship it out on time they said. Bonus.
