MountainTOP

I just checked it with the next 5 songs in a row on Spotify, the Vocals are clear, def clearer than 3 of those songs . What are you listening on ? Put this on good headphones & right off Spotify not squashed like this site does to it (crazy on my meter how this is squashed on here compared to direct on spotify) or a good stereo pre 90's into JBL's & KLH's, My enjoyment comes from it sounding good on those but unfortunately have to compromise for streaming .

Also, i remember growing up all the killer 60's & 70's , when i finally learned what some of the songs lyrics where, almost ruined the song as the meaning i had in my head completely changed lol

The music built up a journey , still does...dreamy at times... a 3 to 4 minute soundscape to drift away for a brief moment & enjoy or even get fired up..

Fair enough. I'll pop my ear buds in and give it another listen.

I am curious though when you say, "like this site does to it." I assume you're making reference to the youtube? Yes?

On here, it it squashing youtube & Spotify quite a bit compared to when i listen on the platforms directly. I can see it on the meter the transient peaks are squashed a good bit.

Cellphone, i noticed if i back down the volume a bit it sounds way less "plasticly"

It is fun to learn. I got those mixcubes to help with making sound good on non hi fi gear. It is a learning process for sure & enjoying it

My apologies, Sir. I discovered, tonight, for myself, that my host site of choice, Mixsposure, is also guilty of squashing music files.

Stay tuned and read the entirety of my complaint and rant in a different thread.
