BEgan the typical Lunch Ritual for the MOTM Swamp Contingent Lunch and laugh.....

After much food was consumed by myself, Hackmaster,Voxman and Raiyn (some may remember that fellow) --- we headed to Sam Ash Clearwater.

That would be VOXMAN running from the camera and knocking over small children......some illegal guns laundering thing he was mumbling......

MUCH guitar fondling occurred......much prognosticating and arm chair quarterbacking .....and I think some actual smart stuff was said too----
I played several PRICEY basses ---A new Rickenbacker and fondled a GIBSON REVERSE FIREBIRD BASS....yummy ---

Always fun to have a guitar day out with a couple of friends. Next time, can you also upload the pictures of the late afternoon drinking, excuse phone calls to wives and the evening decent into strip clubs and shameful behaviour all round.
 
The guitar you have in the parking lot is the nicest one! However, the Peavey T60 looks real nice too (the disease in me rises).

My new amp is the all SS Princeton Plus. It is a nice amp, but that one looks classic.

It's Grant's cross pollination of a Firebird, Les Paul Florentine and SG all rolled into one.
It's been on a cross country tour of the southland.

That is my Les G custom made through neck geetar. I sent it back to Hackmaster to do some fine tuning and Adrian just had to go fondle her G string. Did I just say "her"? Yes I said her. Les is short for Leslie, so I call her Les G. After I get it back I'm gonna do a write up about it. I have pics from the start of the build picking out the lumber and details on all the trick stuff it has in it.

Les G actually is a member of the frequent flyers club. She was grown and carved on an Indian reservation in the far north end of New York. After the build she was shipped to me in Los Angeles, then to Hack in Florida and soon to be back to me on left coast. She's been coast to coast like a ping pong ball.

Funny, sorta related story ...
Some years back I purchased a Norton Commando that started it's life in the UK, shipped and then sold in the USA, shipped and sold to me in Australia, then I sold it to a bloke and shipped it back to the UK for him :-)

EDIT, here she is being crated for her return home trip.
